How to register
Formula SAE Italy 2009 event registration will open on February 18th, 2009 at 10 AM CET (GMT +1) and close on April 30th, 2009 at 11.59 PM CET (GMT +1).
Teams admitted will be 40 in Class 1 (First Year Vehicle) and 5 in Class 3 (Design Review Category).
The electronic form will be available only at the opening date at the count down end.

Registrations will be accepted in the order they will be received and the list of registered teams will be on line right after your forwarding.
REGISTRATION FEES
- Class 1: 1.400,00 Euro including 20% VAT
- Class 3: 1.000,00 Euro including 20% VAT
The registration fee includes 25 team members. Every further member can be registered for 24 Euro (20% VAT included), within July 17th, 2009. Click here to download the form.
Registration fees are not refundable.
PAYMENT DETAILS
Teams will have 48 hours, starting from registration time, to send us payments.
Registrations to the FSAE Italy 2009 will be confirmed only when the due amount is paid by credit card or proof of bank transfer, certifying payment date and time, is shown.
You can choose to pay either:
- by credit card on line
or
- by bank transfer to Associazione Tecnica dell'Automobile c/o Banca Popolare di Novara, Orbassano (TO) - Italy - IBAN: IT 15 F 05608 30689 000000001000 - SWIFT code: NVRBIT 21126.
Please be sure to indicate on the bank transfer that the payment is for Formula SAE Italy 2009, code 92.
INVOICE
ATA will issue an invoice to every registered team. VAT number is required only for European Community Countries.
MEMBERSHIP
Italian Teams must be ATA members, other Teams must be members of one of the following Societies: ATA, SAE International, SAE Australasia, SAE Brazil, IMechE, VDI.
In case of Teams coming from nations which don't have FISITA referent Association they can choose to subscribe either to ATA or SAE.

FURTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
Please take note that Faculty Advisors/Teams Leaders will be the only mail referents. They are the only ones allowed to send registration forms and any other technical document to ATA.
Within April 30th, 2009 the following documents are required:
- List of Team Members
- Proof of membership, such as membership card or Society membership number.
CAR NUMBER
When choosing your car number, please take note that it could be already taken by a team registered earlier than you. The acceptance order will follow the list of registered teams published in the ATA web site.
In that case, you will receive an e-mail message asking for a new choice.
APPLYING FOR VISA
If you need a Visa, please send us all the necessary details for invitation letter within June 15th, 2009 to Claudia Rossi at claudia.rossi@crf.it.
WAITING LIST
Exceeding teams (more than 40 in Class 1 and 5 in Class 3) will be put in a waiting list. They will be allowed to take part in the event depending on the number of confirmed teams and on teams withdrawals.
If your team is in the waiting list, the payment is required only if admitted to the competition. On due time, you will be informed by ATA.
