ATA's review was founded with the association. The first issue, titled "ATA - journals and acts of the ATA - Associazione Tecnica dell'Automobile", was dated January 15, 1948.

You could read in the first page:

" Of the new "Associazione Tecnica dell'Automobile" - ..................... - this is the review ......... The association is hardly born to start its work and the first issue is ready.. ............ This immediacy is sign of vitality. ............ "ATA" is published first of all for members. ............Its content: news and documents: but, above all, technical articles as an instrument for diffusing culture and innovation, forum for new ideas, ............. The review, as the association, is open to all people interested in automobile techniques, who have something interesting to communicate............." 

In these its 60 years life the review modified a few times its graphic aspect (the last change in 1999), changed slightly its heading, but managed to maintain its promises.
Actually, ATA always tried to diffuse innovation, with the co-operation of Italian and foreign authors belonging both to academic and industrial fields.

Today "ATA - Ingegneria Automotoristica" is dispatched all over the world to members and subscribers with 40,000 copies per years.
There are now six issues per year.
