1st Monza Test Drive

In order to give engineering students always new opportunities to learn and increase their experiences, ATA in cooperation with the Autodromo di Monza is very pleased to announce the 1st Monza Test Drive which will be held in the Autodromo di Monza on May 27 - 30, 2010 during the "Aria Nuova" event.
At the test will be admitted Formula SAE cars built on FSAE 2009 and 2010 rules and electric and hybrid vehicles built following USA Formula Hybrid Rules, Formula Student Class 1A Rules and German Formula Student Electric Rules.
During the four days of the event members of the Technical Committees will be present at team disposal for questions and clarifications.
The program will include full technical inspections made by FSAE Italy and EHI staff members.
Afterwards, there will be open test sessions of acceleration, skid pad and autocross during scheduled sessions.
The teams will also be invited to participate in a competition on the following subject: "How the team worked on fuel consumption reduction during the development of the vehicle" presenting a 4 pages written report.
A Technical Commission will judge all the reports and the 5 best ones will be presented during a seminar on Sunday 30, 2010.
The winner will be awarded by the Autodromo di Monza.
